Variegated plants like good light, but not too much direct sunlight. Green leaves like more shade, and can be placed in darker positions. Plants grow towards the light so it is advisable to turn their pots regularly to encourage balanced growth. Most plants thrive on moderate to bright light. Only few plants like cacti and succulents can tolerate scorching sun.
